Welcome to Sol Socials!
Sol Socials are monthly, building-wide community events hosted in the Sol Courtyard and facilitated by Resident Assistant teams of 4-6. These programs are designed to create fun, low-pressure opportunities for residents to connect with one another, build relationships, and strengthen their sense of belonging within the Colonia de la Paz community.
Each RA group will collaborate to plan and facilitate one Sol Social during the academic year. Programs should be engaging, inclusive, and accessible to all residents while encouraging interaction, community building, and campus involvement. Whether it's games, crafts, wellness activities, music, or themed social events, the goal is to transform the Sol Courtyard into a welcoming gathering space where residents can relax, meet new people, and build lasting connections.
All Sol Social must occur no later than the last Monday of the month.

This is our first event and is a focus on welcome and connection as well as Hall Council pitching. This event is traditionally a Cookout in the courtyard.
