Events & Hall Council Mentors Committee

The purpose of this committee is to support the development, sustainability, and effectiveness of Hall Council through mentorship, structure, and event planning. This committee will be the guiding board for the Hall Council members. This committee attends hall council meetings on a rotation schedule, assist with planning events, and staff events when needed. Some traditions include Highland Rocks the Block, October Themed Event, Finals Week Events, and much more.

Social Media & Marketing Committee

The purpose of this committee is to enhance community engagement, visibility, and education through intentional, trendy digital content that reflects our residents and UA. This committee will oversee all Instagram Posting and Engagement. Some traditions include Meet the Staff, Posting Reels, Interviewing Residents during move-in, Diva La Paz Promo, and much more.

Staff Recognition & Staff Social Committee

The purpose of this committee is to foster a positive staff culture through intentional recognition, appreciation, and community-building experiences. This committee will overall all staff socials, award nominations, staff birthdays, and weekly recognition at staff meeting. Some traditions include staff hiking trip, dinner trips, staff meeting takeovers, and more.

Staff Council Committee

The purpose of this committee is to enhance staff development, critical thinking, and engagement Through intentional facilitation of professional development and training. This committee will facilitate two professional development per semester that happen at staff meeting, co-lead specific staff meetings, and be a voice for advocacy amongst staff. Some traditions includes current events presentations, university updates, team bonding activities, and more.
